Pre-heat oven to 425° and grease a baking sheet or line with a baking mat.
Set the pizza dough out on the counter at least 10 minutes before you plan to start cooking to bring to room temperature.
On a lightly floured surface, push and roll out dough until very thin, about a 10-12 inch circle. Transfer to prepared baking sheet.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat 1 tablespoon of the olive oil. Add the Italian sausage and cook until cooked and browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Add garlic and saute until fragrant. Add the mushrooms and cook just until soft; about 3-5 minutes.
Spread the remaining tablespoon over the dough and sprinkle the dried basil on top.
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the dough. Add the sausage and mushrooms and top with the fontina cheese.
Bake for 10 - 15 minutes or until the crust is crisp and browned and the cheese is melted.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with red pepper flakes. ENJOY!
