Toffee Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  • Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  • Mix in the sugar and heavy cream and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to medium and lightly boil stirring frequently until the sauce thickens and darkens; about 4-5 minutes.
